Privacy Statement

Data and Cookies

Coonen Clinic is responsible for processing all data on this site and the inquiries made through the web form. Questions or comments? Leave a reply or contact us.

Data Processing Forms

Data shared via forms on the site are used solely to perform the requested action. For example, to answer a question. These data are processed based on the execution of the agreement. After completion, the data are stored; if you object to this, please contact us.

Use of Cookies

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file containing information about the visit to this site that is placed on the visitor’s computer. Many sites use cookies. Users can delete the cookies from their browser after using the site or set their browser to delete cookies after each session.

Why do we use cookies?

We place these files so we can tailor the design and content of our site to the visitor’s preferences.

Functional Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly.

Analytical Cookies Google

The site uses analytical cookies from Google Analytics. The last three digits of the visitor’s IP address are anonymized. A processor agreement has been concluded with Google for this purpose. The data collected via analytical cookies are not shared with other parties.

Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing Google

The purpose is to gain insight into the behavior of visitors on the site to better tailor the site to users’ wishes. Since the IP address is anonymized, the impact on visitors’ privacy is minimal. Processing of the data takes place based on a legitimate interest.

Retention Period and Data Processing

The processed data are stored until the agreement is executed or a maximum of 26 months in the case of Google, unless the law prescribes a longer term. Data processed for the newsletter are stored until consent is withdrawn. Some of the data obtained via the site and newsletter are processed outside the EU.

Rights of Data Subjects

Anyone whose data we have collected can request us:

– To provide access to collected personal data

– To correct their own data

– To stop processing and/or delete the data

– To transfer the personal data (‘data export’)

Every data subject is free to file a complaint with a supervisory authority about the way Coonen Clinic processes data and/or informs data subjects. A supervisory authority is, for example, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We attach great importance to the protection of personal data. Most information is available on or via the site without the need to provide personal data. In certain cases, however, personal information may be requested. In such cases, the data will be treated in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Law.

We provide the following guarantees:

– The processing of your personal data is limited to the intended objective

– Your personal data are not disclosed to third parties nor used for direct marketing purposes of third parties

– We take the best possible security measures to prevent third parties from misusing your personal data

– The site uses so-called “cookies”. These are small information files that are automatically saved on your computer’s hard drive. This information is sent back to the site’s administrator with each visit, facilitating and making access to the site and navigation faster and more efficient.
