To address visible lines in the neck, Botox is used to soften these lines by relaxing the muscles, making the bands less noticeable and giving the skin an opportunity to rejuvenate. For the décolletage, Juvéderm Volite with hyaluronic acid is employed to hydrate and restore elasticity, smoothing out fine lines. Alternatively, Radiesse, a filler containing calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres, can be used. Radiesse offers an immediate filling effect and stimulates natural collagen production, resulting in firmer, tighter, and more elastic skin.

Juvéderm is administered superficially with a needle, while Radiesse is applied deeper into the skin using a cannula or blunt needle. This approach allows for covering a larger area at once and significantly reduces the risk of bruising.

Concerned about pain?

During the treatment, you may expect minimal discomfort as both brands contain an anesthetic to ensure a nearly painless experience.

After the treatment, it’s common for the skin of the décolletage to feel slightly numb, caused by the anesthetic in the filler. Additionally, due to the various small injections, some redness or bumps may occur. In the event of a bruise, it’s advisable to avoid sun exposure until the bruise fades.

To optimize results and minimize discomfort, we recommend avoiding pressure on the treated area for at least one hour post-treatment and waiting one hour before applying makeup. Furthermore, refraining from heavy exercise for at least 48 hours is recommended. It’s also advisable to avoid saunas or hammams during the first week following the treatment and to refrain from undergoing any beauty treatments or receiving massages in the treated area for the first two weeks.

The enhancement of the décolletage is noticeable right away, with fine lines smoothed out and the skin appearing fresher and smoother. The hyaluronic acid fillers continue to attract moisture in the initial weeks, further enhancing the result. The optimal outcome typically becomes visible after 6 weeks.

Regarding the neck treated with Botox, the effects typically begin to manifest around 4 days post-treatment and reach their peak at approximately 2 weeks.

Duration of benefits

If the treatment is executed using Radiesse, the effects typically last between 12 to 18 months. However, with Juvéderm Volite, the effect usually lasts from 6 to 9 months. Should you wish to maintain or enhance your results, you can easily undergo the treatment again afterward.

For Botox treatments, the effects typically last around 3 to 4 months.

Individual needs may vary, but typically, 2 ml of Juvéderm Volite (€775) or 3 ml of Radiesse (€825) is required for décolletage treatment. For Botox treatment of the neck, it usually entails 2 zones or costs €290.
